Honors Wellga Jinju wins Korea Economic Daily Housing Culture Grand Prize H1 2023

2023 First-Half Korea Economic Daily Housing Culture Awards Apartment Grand Prize Honors Wellga Jinju STS Development: A 39-Story Mixed-Use Residential Complex Set to Become a Landmark in Western Gyeongsangnam-do Honors Wellga Jinju, developed by real estate developer STS Development in Gajwa-dong, Jinju, Gyeongsangnam-do, has been named the winner of the Apartment category at the 2023 first-half Korea Economic Daily Housing Culture Awards. The complex adopts a mixed-use development (MXD) approach that brings together residential, commercial, transportation, and cultural functions needed for daily life. It is expected to establish itself as a landmark development representing western Gyeongsangnam-do. The complex will consist of four buildings with four basement levels and 39 floors above ground, comprising 840 units in total. Unit types include 278 units of 84㎡ Type A, 280 units of 84㎡ Type B, 68 units of 92㎡, and 214 units of 115㎡, with a focus on the medium-to-large unit types favored by buyers. Heunghan Housing General Construction is handling construction. The Honorpolis development project, which includes this complex, is a large-scale urban development project covering approximately 85,800㎡ near KTX Jinju Station. It will bring together Honors Mall (a mixed-use shopping mall and complex terminal), Honors Avenue (a themed street mall), and Honors Wellga Jinju (premium residential units). Within the complex, Honors Mall will span a total floor area of 99,000㎡, alongside Honors Avenue on a site of approximately 16,500㎡. Together they provide one-stop infrastructure encompassing a shopping mall, large discount store, cinema, convention facilities, and an in-complex street mall. An intercity and express bus complex terminal within the complex offers added convenience. Proximity to the Jinju IC on the Namhae Expressway and major arterial roads allows quick access to nearby cities. Connectivity to the greater Seoul metropolitan area and major cities nationwide is also excellent via the Gyeongjeon Line, the planned Southern Inland Railway, and KTX Jinju Station. A variety of trees are planned for the southern side of the complex to provide a pleasant natural environment, and roughly 9,240㎡ of riverside landscaped space and walking trails will offer residents a place to relax close to home. A range of community facilities will enhance residents' convenience, including a fitness center, a screen golf course, a dry sauna, a children's water play area and zip-line playground, and a premium healing-care reading room. Additional resident amenities and services are planned to boost satisfaction, including a lounge café (Healing Care Café), concierge services, and an Honors Mall membership program. Actor Daniel Henney, who has been actively working between Korea and the United States, has been selected as the advertising model for Honors Wellga Jinju.
